Tenth annual conference of the Danish Society for Marxist Studies
Aarhus University, Denmark
10-11 October 2025
The concept of abolition assembles under its banner a broad range of critical theoretical traditions and analytical strategies; it marks a common direction, yet a plurality of approaches towards a world beyond sexism, racism, police, and prisons.
For our tenth annual conference, the Danish Society for Marxist Studies invites researchers from all fields and strains of critical research and radical scholarship to engage with abolition as a broadly conceived project of liberation.
As always, registration is free and everyone is welcome to participate in the conference as well as the conference dinner (limited spots available!)

The conference dinner takes place on Friday 10 October at Restaurant Thali, Åboulevarden 7, 8000 Århus C.
The dinner costs DKK 250, which must be paid at registration. The meal is vegan and one drink is included in the price.
Please note that participation in the dinner is only possible with pre-registration. There is imited availability for the dinner and there will be no organised waiting list or anything to that effect.
